2025 Schedule

Here are the City streets scheduled to be milled and overlayed in 2025:

Why these streets? We have evaluated all city streets and have prioritized which streets will be overlayed.
Is there an assessment? No, this project comes out of the city's normal operating budget. There is no assessment to you or your business.
When? Work is typically planned for sometime in summer/fall. City crews will install signs at the entrance to the neighborhood letting you know when the project will take place. They will also prune trees with low overhanging branches.
What happens during a mill and overlay?
- Our contractor will mill 6 to 12 inches of blacktop on the edge of the road. Milling should take 1 to 2 days to complete.
- City crews will follow and raise the manholes and water valves to match them up to the height of the new 2 inches of blacktop.
- Then, the contractor will come back to pave the road. The paving process will take about a week to complete. Paving is weather dependent, so the exact dates might change.
What's the impact? Please keep all vehicles off the streets during the overlay process. There will be times when traveling to and from your house will take a few extra minutes, so please be patient. We have instructed the contractor to allow for access to homes and businesses on these streets.
